Leland Paper Company was started in 1951 by Darwin E. Leland when he
bought the old MacLaren Paper Company. Our first building at 76 Lawrence
Street was recently renovated by the Post-Star in their latest expansion.
Darwins son Richard Leland serves as President and C.E.O., while
his grandsons, Steven and Jeffrey, make up the third generation and serve
as vice presidents.
We are dedicated to giving you the kind of personal service and attention
you need while supplying all of your needs in a timely fashion and at
competitive prices. We service an area encompassing the Capital District
to the south, Vermont to the east and the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake region
to the north - we deliver locally every business day. Our customer service
staff and sales force use a state of the art computer system to be sure
your orders are filled accurately and our drivers are ready to make your
delivery quickly and courteously.
In 1991, Leland Paper Company was the inaugural winner of the Small Business
of the Year Award, given out by the Adirondack Regional Chambers of Commerce.
This award is given by the ARCC, with over 1,000 members, for: Service
to the Community, Staying Power, and Workplace Innovation.
